THE GRABBING PUSSY
She began as a lonely representation of longing and attachment, a handful of sketches inspired by a poem that later became part of my zine, End to Beginning.
The moment that sparked her to life arrived more than a year later.
I heard the recording of Donald Trump bragging about “grabbing a woman by her pussy.” When he later won the presidential election, THE GRABBING PUSSY was pushed out of my notebook and into the spotlight.
She was absurd, comical, and angry — a container for everything I felt as a woman boxed in by the limitations of our society. THE GRABBING PUSSY became, and still is, a key player in my refusal to shrink.
And now, a decade later, I find myself in a chapter I never expected:
earning money by selling what is ultimately pussy — without bending my principles or my boundaries.
The irony is delicious.
A laugh in the face of those who tried to project their ambitions onto me, using status, money, and entitlement to pressure me into treating sex as a transaction.
THE GRABBING PUSSY is a force to be reckoned with —
an icon born from poetry, politics, and the long, winding road of becoming a woman who refuses to be small, silent, and invisible.
